WBCA Recommendation

West Bay Christian Academy

January 12, 2012

To Whom It May Concern:

I am delighted to introduce Ms.Yost, music teacher and owner/operator of the American Slavic Center for Education and Arts to you. Having been a well-experienced teacher of music and languages and an enterprising businessperson, Larysa volunteered to prepare our students for the Christmas concert, our musical celebration of the Lord’s Day of birth.  Over a period of 7 weeks, Larysa inspired our students to devote time and efforts into their rehearsals for the concert program.

The Christmas performance was a resounding success!  On stage, the students made a remarkable impression singing sacred music while playing on the bells.  Even our youngest children (Pre K-Grade two) participated playing on mini keyboards.  I really felt proud of all our students, who gave so willingly their best to God and to our community of family and friends.

Now, Larysa’s Center is enrolling our students in private and group piano, guitar, and violin lessons, that run after school. The Center is also offering group lessons of general music for a very modest monthly fee. Those lessons run during school hours, and they are elective. Ms. Yost works alongside her daughter, Arina Burceva, a professional classical guitarist and teacher at the Center (www.arinaburceva.com).

We have provided Ms. Yost as a teacher and a representative of her Center with this recommendation in testimony of her utmost professionalism. We are certain that any children who enroll in the classes of this Center and the classes held by Larysa personally will benefit immensely. Larysa does her job in a genuinely caring and positive way.  We would be delighted to see her program grow and prosper.

Respectfully,

Edward E. Swift, Principal
